I’m going to take a short break from tasting beers from 1 Tonne Brewery and tell you how the marketing we’ve been cursing about rules after all. The French brewery Saint-Omer produces both private label and many private label beers. I saw this beer in Metro. I scratched my head – the name seemed familiar, but I hadn’t seen such a can before, so I put it in my basket.
At home I first went to Tapok, then searched the blog – bingo! I drank it five years ago, but the design was very different. So there you have it! Radically changed the design and again as from a white sheet – new sales :) And you say it does not work!
Saint-Omer Biere Blonde De Luxe (France, Saint-Omer) – 5/11 Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet. Taste also moderately sweet, clean. In the aftertaste to the malted body adjoins a little rough hops, but just a little. You can drink it, of course, but the question is, as usual, one – why?
I don’t remember what price I bought it for, but not too cheap. There are no flavor features. For whom? For what? I asked myself the same questions five years ago. And the same did not find answers. I’ll lower my rating to a “C,” though. Just an empty beer, i.e. mediocre.
