Edelweiss Cherry & Lavender beer

Another fruity beer and just like the style I mentioned in the post about the stupid Lambic Kriek. Edelweiss Cherry & Lavender is claimed as a cherry and lavender vitbier. Sounds promising! I’m not talking about the lavender, but how it’s all supposed to go with the vitamins.

Edelweiss Cherry & Lavender (Russia, St. Petersburg) – 4.5% alcohol. On the whole, if you consider it as a fruit beer, it’s quite pleasant. Cherry doesn’t stick out in all directions, but it’s not faded like Trekhsosensky’s either.  Light acidity and even a little bitterness in the aftertaste.

By the way, there is no cherry in the “Cherry Lavender” flavoring! There is apple juice, fructose and lavender extract. The color is achieved with black carrot juice. So if you have a cherry intolerance, you can safely drink this “cherry” beer.

What else isn’t in this beer is whitbier, even if it’s in the Other understyle. Just a slight muddiness, that’s all. By the way, I didn’t notice the lavender either, but maybe that’s for the best. As a rule, if a beer has lavender, it immediately goes to the perfume and soap theme.

I was left with a double impression. On the one hand, it seems to be both pitta and cherry (without cherry), but on the other hand – nothing interesting and for some reason the desire to buy again (even if I’m a fan of fruit beer) did not arise. Rated “C”.

PS. My blog is in the top 100 beer blogs! It is somewhere around 52nd place.
