The last time I wrote about a beer from the Alpirsbacher brewery was at the end of May. At that time I tried Alpirsbacher Spezial, it was not very enthusiastic. But the Schwarzwald Michel line, very much to my liking. But, in general, the products of this brewery are very decent.
Alpirsbacher Kloster Helles (Germany, Alpirsbach) – 5,1/12This beer is in their Kloster Specialitaten lineup. Therefore, unlike the same Schwarzwald Michel Hell, the alcohol is not 4.8, but 5.1%. Very soft, pleasant, floral flavor. Malty flavor, but not sweet. In the aftertaste a little bit of honey, the same florals and a pleasant malt flavor. Hops do not play a big role here, but a little bit there, and just goes into the flowers.
Very pleasant, flavorful and not empty hollies. A- rating.
