I was first introduced to the beer from the Saxon brewery Einbecker Brauhaus in 2020, and at the beginning of February 2022 I saw it in a wide range at Prodexpo. Mostly interested in the sides of course (a side of Einbecker, how much more authentic), but in the range of brewery is much wider. There are hell and a few Pils.
Einbecker Brauherren Pils was bought in the KullKlever chain (aka Rest) and I think it appeared there not too long ago. At least, I have not seen it before. There are several other sides for sale there as well, but it was the pils that interested me.
Einbecker Brauherren Pils (Germany, Einbeck) – 4.9/11 A pleasant, grassy aroma. The taste is dry, but in spite of only 11% ENS quite rich, malty. In the aftertaste excellent, also grassy, slightly spicy hops which takes root in the throat and stays there for a long time. A fine example of a German pils. Clean, hoppy, dry. A rating of “A.”
By the way, Oleg Korotky, on his podcast-youb channel “Two Beers, Ppl,” has released an interview with me. If you’re interested, come in and listen. Subscribe to Oleg’s channel, there are a lot of interesting interviews with people from the brewing industry.
